The Center for Energy Efficient Magnonics Energy (CEEMag) Frontier Research Center (EFRC) is a research center dedicated to the exploration of spin waves, or magnons, in new materials and nanostructures in the context of future energy efficient magnonic waveguides. The EFRC team is based at SLAC National Laboratory and spans the campuses of Cornell, Morgan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, UC Irvine, University of Iowa, and UT Austin and establishes a foundational partnership among scientific leaders in new materials synthesis, spin wave phenomena and characterization, nanofabrication and theory.
CEEMag team members from Cornell, Morgan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, University of Iowa, UT Austin and UC Irvine converged at SLAC/LCLS on Monday November 17th and Tuesday November 18th.
